At least 3 years of corporate sales experience in the entertainment industry

Experience in B2B merchandise sales

Strong skills in creating presentation materials and delivering presentations

Chinese language skills

Background
Since its establishment in 1953, the company has been a pioneer in the amusement industry, continuously delivering innovative games and entertainment experiences. Its merchandising (MD) division handles the complete process of developing, producing, and selling prize items. To further strengthen its international business, the company is hiring an additional sales representative for overseas character retail.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for proposing character merchandise ideas to overseas clients to help increase sales.

Communication is primarily conducted via email, and many clients speak Japanese, so not all work is performed in English.

Includes online meetings and overseas business trips (to countries such as the U.S. and China) about 2–4 times a year, each lasting about a week.

This role is ideal for those who wish to challenge themselves with English or utilize their language skills.

Sales activities may be based on internally decided products or tailored to meet client requests.

Position Highlights
Utilize your knowledge of anime and games to collaborate with the prize development team and propose product ideas tailored to clients.

Gain hands-on experience in marketing while working in a sales role.

Handle a diverse range of clients including bookstores, wholesalers, and hobby shops.

Opportunity to use English skills (Chinese is a plus, but not required).

Collaborate with well-known characters and brands.

Team Structure
You will be part of the Sales Section 3 of the MD Sales Department, which focuses on international clients.

No transfers

Working Hours:

10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (8 hours/day, 1-hour break)

Core time: 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM (flex-time system)

Average overtime: 10–20 hours per month (varies depending on workload)

Salary:

Annual: ¥4,000,000 – ¥6,500,000

Monthly: ¥250,000 – ¥466,000

Salary determined based on experience

Housing allowance: ¥5,000 – ¥20,000 (varies based on region and number of dependents)
