Job description

■Specific duties
You will be responsible for strategically improving the technical and organizational capabilities of the engineering organization, which is mainly composed of back-end, and for managing the construction of systems for the development of services.

・Multifaceted review of engineer output
・Strategic design and promotion for optimizing product quality, productivity, and performance
・System management in assigned area (project progress, definition of the ideal system)
・Working with various stakeholders to formulate roadmaps for organization and architecture
・Supporting engineers to improve their skills and fostering a culture in the engineering organization
・Supporting the growth of team members (1on1 meetings, etc.)

・The main implementation is a combination of Java 11/Spring Boot 2 or Java 17/Spring Boot 3.
・Java 8 and Java EE framework remain in some legacy implementations.
・RDS (Oracle, MySQL) and DynamoDB are used for databases.
・S3 is used for object storage, and event-driven processing is performed by Python/AWS Lambda.
・JUnit/Mockito is used for unit tests and JMeter for integration tests.
・GitHub and GitLab are used for version control, and CodePipeline is used for CI/CD.

Working hours: Full flex system (no core time)

In principle: 9:00am to 5:45pm (7 hours 45 minutes actual work + 1 hour break)
