■ About the blockchain market and the company's challenges
In the future, it is expected that all assets will be converted into digital assets, mainly assets with value backing such as stocks, bonds, derivatives, and real estate, called RWA.

In addition, the market capitalization of stablecoins, which will likely become the mainstream of digital transactions in the future, is more than 25 trillion yen as of June 2024, which is only 0.5% of the total legal tender. The main use case so far has been cryptocurrency trading, but there are reports that the market will be worth more than 400 trillion yen by 2028 due to its use in the real economy.

In this context, on September 5, 2024, we announced the cross-border remittance infrastructure project "Project Pax" in collaboration with the international organization Swift and major banks. By using stablecoins, a digital currency whose value is linked to legal tender, we will realize "fast, cheap, and convenient" international remittances.

Since its founding in 2018, Datachain has been researching and developing technologies and business opportunities with the goal of creating a de facto infrastructure as a "global x deep tech" from Japan.

The company aims to become a decacorn (a startup with a corporate value of over $10 billion), and it is often said that in order to achieve this goal, it is necessary to "win in global x deep tech."

As a major first step, the aforementioned cross-border remittance infrastructure project was launched. Currently, the project is being promoted with an advantage due to the fact that Japan's legal framework has been developed ahead of the rest, but global competition is expected to intensify in the future as the market is large.

In this situation, we are rapidly expanding recruitment, mainly for product development team members, in order to take the lead in creating a "de facto infrastructure" as a "global x deep tech" from Japan.

■ Mission of this position
- Discuss business requirements with the product manager directly under the CEO for the cross-border remittance infrastructure project "Project Pax", and formulate technical requirements based on that.
- Lead progress management and quality control of development projects, including connections with Swift and financial institutions such as banks.

Annual Salary 8-15 million yen
