◆About X Mile
X Mile (Cross Mile) has a mission of "creating a mega venture that represents the Reiwa era" and is expanding its business with the aim of realizing its vision of "supporting the foundation of social life, the non-desk industry."
Non-desk industries such as logistics, construction, and manufacturing are social infrastructure that support food, clothing, and shelter, but the sense of labor shortage is accelerating in industries known as the 3K.
Japan's productivity has been sluggish since the collapse of the bubble economy, and in 2021, Japan's hourly labor productivity is still 27th out of 38 OECD member countries, and the country's power is being lost day by day.
At X Mile, we improve the labor shortage and labor productivity of non-desk workers, who account for more than 47% of Japan's labor force and more than 80% of the world's labor force, thereby improving the quality of life of workers and consumers and continuing to contribute to society.
We focus on the non-desk industry, which has a larger market than any other industry and is yet to be developed, and develop our business by making full use of our business building capabilities and technology.
◆What is surprisingly unknown? The "non-desk industry" as a social issue
You may not be aware of it on a daily basis, but the "non-desk industry" is what makes up the things that are essential in everyday life, such as logistics, construction, electricity, and manufacturing.
In fact, the non-desk industry is currently facing very big challenges. The challenges are two major ones: "labor shortages due to the aging of non-desk workers" and "inefficient business systems of businesses."
Unless we change this situation, we will no longer be able to maintain the comfortable social life we enjoy.
Japan is in such a critical situation.
We will focus on this social issue and promote digital transformation in legacy non-desk industries.
And we will create new businesses one after another to create Japan's future.
◆Work hard with excellent colleagues as a member of a social entrepreneur group
X Mile is home to unique members with a wide range of backgrounds, including entrepreneurial experience, major companies, and venture MVPs. The average age is 27, and it is a young, flat and enthusiastic organization.
The companies from which our members come are diverse, including SoftBank, En Japan, CyberAgent, SMS, NeoCareer, NextBeat, and Terra Motors.
Let's work together to create Japan's future as a member of a group of entrepreneurs who solve social issues one after another.
