Job description
As a back-end engineer, you will be primarily responsible for new development and maintenance for our SaaS-based web service "NJSS (N-Jess) Bidding Information Flash Service," which allows you to search and manage bidding information from government agencies, local governments, and external organizations nationwide.

Currently used by 6,000 companies across a wide range of industries.
"NJSS (N-Jess) Bidding Information Flash Service" leads to winning bids and improving the quality of public services by enabling centralized search and management of bidding information from government agencies, local governments, and external organizations nationwide.

[Specific work content]

- Development of API to search/register bidding information from NJSS

- Development and maintenance of crawler functions to collect bidding information

- Realization of advanced search functions using AI and machine learning

- Development and maintenance of related service "nSearch" (including front-end)

[What we want to achieve]

NJSS is a service that allows users (private companies) to search for bidding information from public institutions such as government agencies and local governments.

The value of the service is that users find useful information, participate in bidding, and win the bid (receive the project).

The "quantity and quality of data" and "improved search performance" have a major impact on increasing the user's success experience.

NJSS boasts an overwhelming number of bid information posts and over 20 million bid/winning bid data accumulated over the years. However, because we handle a large amount of diverse bid data, there are still challenges in comprehensive information collection and ease of information search. In order to address these challenges, we are looking for someone who can use the power of technology to explore together with us in order to improve the accuracy of data collection and deliver the collected data to users accurately. [What we want you to do] Depending on your experience and aspirations, you will be assigned to one of the following two teams. ① API Development Team We will revamp the existing search API and develop a new search/registration API. We also plan to develop search functions using machine learning technology. NJSS uses PHP/Laravel/Go to develop functions for users, but this search API uses Ruby/Ruby on Rails. ② Crawler Development Team You will be responsible for developing a crawler that automatically collects bid information and an automatic document analysis process. Machine learning is used for crawlers and document analysis. In this position, you will be involved in large-scale search applications, and we are also planning to achieve more advanced performance using machine learning technology, so we are looking forward to welcoming people who want to take on technical challenges.
