- Ability to implement machine learning methods using libraries and OSS
- Libraries used are not important, ability to implement methods from scratch without using publicly available programs is preferred
- Ability to investigate previous research in English
- Conversational level English speaking ability including technical vocabulary is preferred
- Ability to explain difficult machine learning methods in simple terms
