Job description
Our clients are mainly major trading companies and oil companies (ENEOS, Idemitsu Kosan, Showa Shell, Cosmo Energy, etc.).
You will receive requests from trading companies and oil companies, and work with shipping companies (NYK, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, etc.) to arrange for the domestic transportation of liquid cargo from the UK, the US, China, Korea, and Singapore. You will communicate with overseas companies and ensure the smooth transport of ships.
・Accept requests from oil trading companies, prepare quotations, prepare contracts, and make adjustments
・Requests from shipping companies, request quotations, conclude contracts, and make various adjustments
・Correspondence with overseas companies
■Negotiate the procurement of ships suitable for cargo requirements and the terms of the charter contract, and after the contract is concluded, you will be responsible for the operation of the ship.
■You will learn the basics of oil transport tankers and the oil industry as you proceed.
★Senior employees will provide guidance, so even those without experience will be fine.
At first, you will learn the job while greeting customers and accompanying them on sales calls.
*You will basically work in the office, so you will be entrusted with communication and coordination via phone and email rather than outside. You will have a lot of discretion, and you will develop your skills while deepening your relationships with trading companies and shipping companies.
★Liquid cargo is transported between companies that own oil tankers (tankers) in various countries, including Japan, and charterers that import and export oil and chemicals, etc., and charterers, which transport liquid cargo between oil companies, trading companies, etc.
