Sales Representative (Automobile Sales & After-Sales Support)

Job Description

As a sales representative handling approximately 50% market share in the automotive industry, you will be responsible for after-sales support, primarily focusing on customers who have already purchased vehicles from our company.

No new client acquisition — customer relationship management with existing clients only

Handle approximately 50 types of new vehicles and propose the most suitable option for each customer

Build trust through multiple consultations before finalizing contracts

Achieve a high repeat customer rate of 75%, enabling long-term customer relationships

Requirements

Mandatory:

Japanese language proficiency N2 or above

Preferred:

Experience in customer service or retail

Experience in sales

Experience in the automotive industry

Experience in the non-life insurance industry

Working Hours & Schedule

9:15 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (1-hour break)

Standard working hours: 7.75 hours/day

Average Overtime:

Approx. 29 hours per month (within 40 hours)

Sapporo (multiple), Ebetsu, Eniwa, Chitose, Otaru, Iwamizawa, Tomakomai, Takikawa, Yoichi, Iwanai, Kutchan, Muroran, Date, Tomikawa, and others.

Salary & Compensation

Model Monthly Salary:

1st year (age 22): ¥278,000

3rd year (age 25): ¥308,000

5th year (age 27): ¥351,000

Base Salary:

Determined based on experience and education

For inexperienced hires:

University graduates: from ¥220,000/month

Junior college/vocational graduates: from ¥200,000/month

Other Compensation:

Overtime pay fully covered (no fixed overtime system)

Annual bonuses twice a year (June & December) + fiscal year-end bonus in March

Average bonus: 5.4 months’ salary (2023)
