Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for leading projects focused on embedded software development, primarily for battery control systems.

Specific Duties:

Requirements definition, basic design, detailed design, implementation, and testing

Project management, including client communication, quotation preparation, and cost control

Sample Projects:
Mission: Accelerating and expanding solutions through hardware-software collaboration
Strategic Focus Areas: Energy, AI & Image Processing, Factory/Manufacturing DX, Logistics & Construction DX

Backup power systems for data centers (growing demand driven by Generative AI)

Employment Details

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent

Contract Period: Indefinite (3-month trial period, no change in conditions)

Working Conditions

Working Hours: 8:45 – 17:30 (45-min break)

Flexible working hours with no core time (hours may vary by location)

Average Overtime: Approx. 23.3 hours/month (maximum ~30 hours)

Primary Office: Takatsuki City, Osaka Prefecture (Panasonic Lighting Devices Co., Ltd. premises, Building B1)

Car and bicycle commuting allowed (per company policy).

Scope of Work Location:
Primarily Osaka HQ (Takatsuki), but may also include offices in Kadoma, Moriguchi, Daito (Osaka), Sapporo, Yokohama, Kusatsu (Shiga), or other designated workplaces. Remote work and secondment may also apply.

Transfer: None expected for now

Salary & Compensation

Annual Salary: ¥6.1M – ¥7.6M

Monthly Salary: ¥390,000 – ¥486,000

Base Salary: ¥326,000 – ¥406,000

Bonus: Twice yearly (June, December), 4.4 months average past results

Example: Role grade ¥7M package = Monthly ¥385,000 + 25 hrs overtime + 4.4 months’ bonus
