Job Description

Mission of the Assigned Department / Responsibilities / Role Appeal
Department Mission
Manage procurement of raw materials and precious metals, as well as logistics execution.
Reduce procurement costs and promote the use of cost-effective raw materials in product development.
About the Catalyst Division
The Catalyst Division was established in response to the increasing global awareness of environmental protection. It mainly produces "emission control catalysts" for motorcycles and automobiles, making it one of Mitsui Mining & Smelting's core businesses.
We supply catalysts globally that comply with environmental regulations in each country. In the motorcycle catalyst market, we hold a world-leading market share of 50%.
Even as EV adoption accelerates, gasoline and diesel vehicles still account for more than 90% of cars worldwide. Therefore, continuous demand for catalysts is expected. We are also developing advanced catalysts to meet increasingly stringent emission regulations worldwide.
About the Procurement Department
The organization is divided into Procurement and Logistics.
The Procurement Department sources catalyst raw materials such as precious metals, ceramics, metallic substrates, and alumina from domestic trading companies.
The Logistics Department supplies procured raw materials to domestic factories and overseas sites (Thailand, India, China, Indonesia, Vietnam, USA).
The Purchasing Department also engages in development procurement, collaborating with suppliers and R&D to introduce cost-effective raw materials without compromising quality.
Even candidates without inorganic materials expertise can learn our technology while collaborating with R&D.
