Job Description
As a mechanical equipment designer, you will be responsible for designing HVAC and other mechanical systems for public facilities. You’ll be involved throughout the entire process—from planning and client communication to design and supervision—witnessing your ideas come to life.
Work on 3–4 projects per year in a team of 6–8 people
Opportunities to design advanced systems and ZEB-compliant facilities
Over 80% of our projects are public-sector, with large-scale buildings (5,000m²+)
Past projects include: Fukuoka University Gymnasium, Hirosaki University Hospital, Wakayama Castle Hall
Work Environment & Flexibility
Core working hours: 9:00 AM – 5:45 PM (1-hour break)
Monthly overtime: around 20–30 hours
No relocations or long-term business trips
Remote work and flexible hours negotiable based on personal circumstances
Salary & Benefits
Annual salary: ¥8.25M – ¥10.5M (Monthly: ¥444,000 – ¥574,500)
Bonuses: Twice a year (June and December)
Salary review: Once a year
Allowances: Certification (up to ¥40,000), one-time ¥100,000 for obtaining First-Class Architect License, family, housing, and full commuting cost coverage
Social insurance, pension, and retirement benefits included (eligible after 3 years)
Retirement age: 62 (Reemployment up to 67)
