Bilingual IT Infrastructure Team Leader

■Required:
Proven experience working as a team leader on IT operations projects

Experience in at least one of the following areas:

Operations projects involving client devices (3+ years)

Operations projects involving network or server devices (2+ years)

Operations projects related to other IT infrastructure (2+ years)

Experience in creating operation workflows and manuals

Japanese language proficiency at JLPT N2 level or higher


Location: Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, Saitama (project-based / potential for remote work)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent (3-month probation)
Annual Salary: ¥4,800,000 – ¥6,000,000
Working Hours: 9:00–18:00 (Shift work including night shifts may apply depending on the project)
Holidays: 120+ days/year (weekends, national holidays, year-end holidays, and various leaves)

Position Overview
We are seeking a team leader to manage a bilingual engineering team composed of multinational members. You will use both English and Japanese to lead one or both of the following project types:

1. On-site Support Project Management

Manage labor, quality, and issue tracking

Perform on-site work and provide guidance to team members

Supported devices: client PCs, peripherals, network devices

Sample projects:

On-site surveys and equipment mounting/unmounting for a major financial institution

IT support for users at the Japan branch of a foreign enterprise

2. Resident User Support Project Management

Manage labor, quality, and issue tracking

Example: Manage a 6-member user support team stationed at the Japan branch of a foreign firm

Required Skills & Experience
Experience leading IT operation teams

Experience in any of the following operations:

Client device support (3+ years)

Network/server operations (2+ years)

Other IT infrastructure support (2+ years)

Experience creating operational workflows and manuals

Business-level Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher)

Logical thinking and the ability to communicate effectively in both Japanese and English

Experience in IT operations analysis and process improvement

Prior experience in one or more of the following:

Network/server monitoring and maintenance

Helpdesk or technical support

On-site support for IT equipment

Team leadership

Ideal Candidate

Comfortable working at multiple client sites as needed

Able to coach colleagues and junior staff
